i'm back from band chalet (:sort of enjoyed it. SORT OF.
day 1, slacked around.
celebrated kel's birthday. finally everyone from 5th batch turned 16 :D
bathed at 10pm+, went for midnight movie at E!Hub.
mer, me and dex watched BOLT while others watched The day the earth stood still.
after movie, went back. mahjonged till 4am.
had a change of game then, poker cards till 6am+.
rest awhile, went for mac breakfast at around 7am.
slacked awhile, then went captain ball with juniors at the park.
played, prepared for BBQ.
even thou everyone who went for the BBQ must pay $5 for the food.
BUT, NOT EVERYONE ATE.
'food was served to the seniors and alumnis, the juniors went home with an empty stomach.'
empty stomach? i bet you ate something? at least some crabsticks and sausages?
and FYI,
victor paid $5 for only eating 1 sausage.
jonathan paid $5 for sausages and some wings. he went out to buy his own dinner at night too.
kongming paid $5 for 2 crabsticks, some wings and sausages as well. but hey, he helped out during the BBQ.
melissa paid $5 for 4 crabsticks and 1-2 sausages.
these are the ones i know, and i bet they are not the only ones who paid $5 and yet ate so little as well.
the rest of the sec4s waited in the room while the rest are BBQing below. not waiting for food, please.
cos there's alot of people standing near the pit waiting for the food to be cooked, so we decided to wait a little while more.
and also, $5 doesnt only include the food and drinks.
charcoals, fire starters, plates, cups, serviettes, metal grill, and the renting of the pit.
so plus there and there, you are only eating food which is worth $2-3?
futhermore, it's not true that we doesnt want to help out during the BBQ and sit inside the chalet watching shows, mahjong-ing waiting for food.
it's also pointless when one whole bunch of people standing there when there's only this amount of work need to be done what, right?
i mean, like 1-2 for fanning, 1 for helping to put charcoals/brush the margarine and stuffs.
maybe 1-2 more to put the food on the plate when the food is cooked.
so when the food is already, you can go get the food. (even thou it's served for the alumnis, no harm sitting down and share with them, right?)
no offence to anyone. whatever.
